Dance therapy Movement therapy Teenagers Medical telematics
This culminating project consists of a literature review that describes the intersection of adolescents, dance/movement therapy in school settings, telehealth, and telehealth transitions during COVID-19. A therapeutic framework is then proposed to exemplify how dance/movement therapy can be adapted to telehealth when working with adolescents in a school setting. Barriers and additional considerations are described, as well as case vignettes that detail specific examples of adaptations. Finally, a reflection is provided to document personal barriers and experiences in this process.
