Abstract
This paper is both an observational narrative and qualitative study of staff meetings of small arts organizations. The research explores organizational management theory, internal leadership, and working with artists, aiming to highlight how they intersect and impact the working environment. The analysis reveals three unique models for internal leadership, which may be useful to arts administrators and artists, specifically those who work in small group structures.
