Television broadcasting--United States--Chinese influences Television programs--United States--Chinese influences Television--Management
In this master's thesis, the author will provide an introduction to Chinese American television's history, development process and limitations. The author's research will examine how the slowly developing Chinese-American media underserve the Asian demographic, failing to meet the needs of the audience. A survey will be conducted among Asian demographics. The author will also explore the current media atmosphere in China. China's economy is increasing rapidly, as are its online TV shows, potentially causing a loss of viewing to existing American-Chinese channels.
