Abstract
With a critical lens focused on equity in audience building, this research provides an investigation into the ways Philadelphian Latinx audience members are invited to engage with visual arts in spaces dedicated to serving their community. It evaluates the success of Latinx engagement based on three case studies with local arts organizations and help leaders of Philadelphia-based visual arts organizations deepen their understanding of how this audience segment can be provided for in the immediate future. This piece concludes with more comprehensive assessments of qualitative evidence paired with recommendations for future arts programming opportunities to more accurately reflect one of the fastest growing groups of consumers in Philadelphia.
