Abstract
[(-)-Camphor-10-ylsulphonyl-3-(nitrophenyl)-oxaziridine (

) is a new type of optically active oxidizing agent which, unlike chiral peroxy acids, has fixed geometry and chiral centres which are essentially one bond removed from the electrophilic oxaziridine oxygen atom.
