A New Genus and Species of Diplura (Arthropoda: Insecta) from the Southeastern United States

Abstract
A new genus, Molaricampa, and species, M. fergusoni, are described from a single locality in northern Alabama. The genus is characterized by the presence of 4 macrochaetae on each side of the pronotum (4 + 4, ma, 1a, 2 1p). The description is based on three specimens. The holotype is deposited in The Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia.
