Abstract
Discusses Sheffield's first Community Support Unit, designed to take services to elderly people in their homes and to provide a centre where elderly people and other local community groups can meet and share facilities. Data is from recording forms designed specifically for this service. Describes the people using the services, the type and frequency of service use, and the way in which different parts of the building were being used. (Abstract amended)
