A pocket noise generator
Radio Communication, Vol.72(2), pp.41-41

Abstract
The first of a series of articles on simple VHF/UHF test equipment describes how to build a small, but useful noise generator. The unit provides sufficient RF noise for comparing receiver sensitivities in the 2m and 70cm bands. As it has a good dynamic range it can also provide enough ouput to power an RF impedance bridge, which will be described in a later article.
