Abstract

Abortion Contraception Educational counseling Family planning Family planning clinics Guilt Memory recall Men Pregnancy Waiting rooms
About half of women undergoing abortion procedures in dedicated clinics are accompanied by a male. Surveys of and interviews with such "waiting room males" indicate that this offers a unique opportunity for counseling and educational services that could be beneficial for both male and female abortion participants and possibly help reduce the need for future abortions.
