Abstract
The coincedent pulses from the stilbene radiator and the semiconductor recoil counters of a thick radiator telescope are processed on-line using analog techniques to provide a pulse proportional in amplitude to the energy of the neutron initiating the recoil event. Exponentiation amplifiers are used to analog the observed power law behavior of the scintillator response function to internally generated protons. An energy resolution of about 5% is measured for neutrons in the tens of MeV range.
