Abstract

Control Diet therapy Dietary supplements Pervasive developmental disorders Pregnancy Risk factors
The study attempts to evaluate the association, if any, between antenatal nutritional supplementation during pregnancy and a reduced risk of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the offspring. The results indicate that maternal multivitamin supplementation may be inversely associated with ASD with intellectual disability in offspring.
