Abstract

Job satisfaction Nurses Professional development
Here, Donnelly says over the years she has listened to far too many variations stories from many other practicing nurses who were her students. Despite emphasis placed by health care organizations on promoting healthy work environments, it may be that a more proactive and personal approach should be taken to assessing possible workplaces in which one can thrive. Robert Levering of Great Place to Work asserts that a great place to work is one in which one trusts the people he works for, has pride in what he does and enjoys the people he works with. Trust, pride, and enjoyment--it seems so simple, but work cultures that have fallen into negativity can be highly resistant to change.
