Abstract
As an educator, have you thought about the essence and the potentiality of every single child you interact with and how it leads to their development as human beings? This may seem like a no brainer question. Ideally, education is about disruption in our routine ways of thinking to develop how to think instead of what to think! But in the age of standardization, do we ever have time to consider these concepts seriously? This is a question that I posed to all my doctoral students at Drexel. These students are made up of classroom teachers, higher education professionals, and people outside of the educational environment who desire to become the transformational leaders within their educational environments. In this turbulent year, because of a virus that basically turned our school system upside down, we are given a chance to seriously consider these concepts both individually and collectively.
