Children with SED and their families in an urban public mental health system: Characteristics, needs, and expectations

Abstract
Marcenko et al present information with implications for the design of comprehensive systems of care for children with severe emotional disturbance and their families. Results from this comprehensive needs assessment demonstrate the serious nature of the children's disabilities, illuminate the challenges for families, and provide direction for enhancing the system of care.
