Abstract
•Wearables are increasingly common, and body location could impact reliability in patients with appendicular motor dysfunction.•There is good agreement in daily step counts between wrist- and hip-worn Fitbit devices in an ambulatory PD cohort.•Wearables can be reliably worn on the wrist in PD to measure metrics (like heart rate) requiring skin contact.
