Computer techniques for studying coverage, overlaps, and gaps in collections
Journal of academic librarianship, Vol.12(6), pp.365-371
1987
Abstract
Tables permitting comparative study of coverage, overlaps, gaps, and unique
holdings in library collections can be readily created with programs in the
widely available statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). Using
data from a hypothetical consortium, this paper gives the SPSS commands
needed to generate the tables and interprets typical output for library
managers. (Autor) =
