Abstract
The IEEE International Conference on Healthcare Informatics 2013 (ICHI 2013) served as the international forum concerned with the application of computer science principles, engineering principles, information technology, communication technology, and information science principles to address problems in healthcare, public health, everyday wellness as well as the related social and ethical issues. The First ICHI 2013 was organized in Philadelphia from September 8 to 11 in 2013.
