An eTool is a computer or web-based application that strives to match the user's needs with the appropriate electronic tool or software application to facilitate the completion of tasks. Project management relies on systems such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Risk Management in order to enhance the chances of project success. These theoretical tools come alive through etools backed by software and actionable displays and printable outputs. E-tools have proliferated today to enable the application of emerging project management technologies to drive efficient and effective task management through project phases and the project life cycle. Among the many e-tools available in contemporary project management, the MS Project is a robust software package that enables project managers and project team members to create tasks and reports, and to keep an eye on the progress of these tasks and related milestones. The latest version, MS Project 2016, has powerful capabilities that could serve as a boon to gear up for successful project management and project completion. As many companies utilize MS Project 2016 to track their projects, this paper presents the procedure for developing an eTutorial project for a concise exposition of MS Project 2016 to learners. The purpose is that such an eTutorial module may be customized by trainers for the training of new learners and less experienced project personnel who can benefit from enhancing their competence in using MS Project 2016 as a versatile e-tool in project environments.
