Regiospecific fluorination using
N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSi) and
N-fluoro-
O-benzenedisulfonimide (NFOBS) reagents via directed
ortho metalation (
Scheme 1) is reported and exceptions of PhSO
2 transfer from NFSi are described.
