Abstract

Selected geomembrane sheet seaming methods which are not widely used at the present time are discussed in this paper. These include ultrasonic bonding, electrical conduction bonding and electromagnetic induction bonding methods. The physical principles of each of these techniques are discussed, as well as their current degree of development and implementation. The potential advantages and disadvantages of the methods are discussed.
