Fundamental theoretical considerations for an air-suspension vortex flow incinerator system
Chemical engineering science, v 29(1), pp 97-104
1974
Abstract
The basic fluid dynamic and combustion, theory underlying an air-suspension vortex flow incinerator system is presented, and the times required for drying, pyrolysis, and char burn-out of the fuel particles are derived. Preliminary estimates for volumetric rates of productions of gas and heat are also deduced from the theory.
