Heart disease is the nation's most significant health problem. Unfortunately, the vast majority of studies conducted to explore the underlying the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiac disorders are based on male samples. Exploring gender-based differences in symptom experiences will lead to improved research, clinical, and prevention initiatives.
