General kinetics of disinfection processes

Abstract
The kinetics of disinfection can be characterized by particular quantitative relationships, including Chick's Law and various modifications to account for aberrant behavior. These kinetic relationships may be used to estimate inactivation in treatment systems. In some cases, due to extreme aberrations, it is necessary to resort to more ad hoc "ct" values.
