Guidelines for Facilitating Language Development
Day care and early education, v 16(2), pp 10-14
Dec 1988
Abstract
Most children have already learned all basic language constructs by age four. The purpose of schools then is not to consider in teaching them a language but to encourage growth & to develop their ability to use the language. Several aspects to improve a child's competence include strategies, materials, attitudes, & environmental conditions. The guidelines presented can serve as a structure from which to create & develop a learning atmosphere. 6 References. A. Sturrock
