Abstract
The article discusses the study which focuses on the significance of higher education as a profession in the U.S. It states that the need to attain national attention to showcase higher education as a profession is essential. It notes that higher education should offer diverse career paths not only for faculty positions but for all administrative positions across institutional divisions. It depicts that in attaining the said endeavor, institutional commitment to increase diversity across all levels of administration is needed. It adds that in the U.S., higher education is the country's greatest assets and it is significant to recruit and retain qualified and experienced administrators in order to lead the country's future universities and colleges.
