Abstract
The tensile and impact bahavior of E-glass/epoxy composites reinforced by 3-D XYZ and braided fabrics as well as 2-D biaxial woven fabrics were examined. By the drop weight instrumented impact test, the damage initiation energy and propagation energy were expressed in terms of a ductility index for the various fabric reinforced composites.
