JOEM Updates and Thank You to the 2021 Reviewers

Abstract
The Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine (JOEM) has accomplished much in 2021, but we must start by thanking the 339 dedicated reviewers and the members of the JOEM Editorial Board who volunteer their time and knowledge to review each submission. We would also like to acknowledge the fact that JOEM reviewers (many reviewed revisions), even with additional COVID-19 responsibilities, are punctual and returned reviews on or before the due date 84% of the time! The 2021 JOEM reviewers are listed alphabetically by last name in the table (Table 1). The JOEM publication would not be possible without their support and enthusiasm and we thank them for their hard effort during a most challenging year. in other related news, the JOEM impact factor increased to 2.162, up from 1.644 and 1.591 from the previous years, indicating that JOEM continues to publish JOEM excellence!
