Kinetics of FcRI dimer formation by specific monoclonal antibodies on mast cells
Biochemistry (Easton), Vol.33(29), p8813

Abstract
The dimers of type I Fc(epsilon) receptor for IgE antibody (Fc(epsilon) RI) become effective secretagogues only when they attain a lifetime longer than a distinct threshold value. The rapid desensitization occurring at high Fc(epsilon) RI concentrations results in less effective release of mast cells by H10 and J17, the IgG class antibodies. The signaling capacity of these receptors depends on the orientational constraints and life time of conformational transitions in the dimers.
