Community policing exchange, Vol.7(29), p4

Before starting a community policing program in Philadelphia's public housing projects, law enforcement officials developed a way of measuring the impact this intervention would have. The results of this evaluation procedure show that police-community partnerships like the 11th Street Corridor Program can be effective in public-housing contexts.
