Abstract
Most books in Operations Research describe in detail the birth or beginnings of an OR project. Numerous examples are given to describe the various modeling techniques available, and to advise the OR team in the selection of the appropriate model. However, there is little discussion of the termination or death of an OR project and the concomitant reasons for the termination. I will attempt to provide some relief for this neglected aspect of Management Science process.
