Mathematical model for the frequency of radiation carcinogenesis at low doses
Mathematical biosciences, v 18(1), pp 133-135
1973
Abstract
It is pointed out that the observed effect-function dependence on the dose is predicted theoretically by an additive superposition of 1-cell and
N-cell contributions. This is illustrated quantitatively by solving an idealized mathematical model in which the 1-cell and
N-cell effect-probabilities are postulated to have very simple statistical forms.
