Abstract
Trichomoniasis is the most common nonviral sexually transmitted infection.(1) For patients with resistance to standard treatment with 5-nitroimidazoles, alternative therapies are limited. We present a case of a 34-year-old woman with multidrug-resistant trichomoniasis who was successfully treated with 600 mg intravaginal boric acid twice daily for 3 months.
