Nitrile anions: solvent-dependent cyclization

Abstract
Research has been conducted on the cyclizations in hydrocarbon and polar solvents. These solvent-dependent cyclizations have demonstrated transition-state sensitivity and have allowed cyclization stereochemistry correlation with the nitrile anion orbital orientation.
