Abstract
Ge et al. report on a novel method they call piezoelectric metabolic reprogramming therapy (PMRT) that aims to both target biofilm and metabolic deficits in chronic diabetic wounds and improve healing, adding to a growing body of literature on macrophage-targeting biomaterials for diabetic wound healing.
