OUTCOMES OF TRANSVENOUS LEAD EXTRACTION IN NONAGENARIANS

Abstract
11 of 12 patients had pacemakers (8 dual chamber and 3 single chamber) and 1 patient had biventricular implantable cardiac defibrillator. 11 out of the 12 extractions were performed for infection: 9 had pocket infections (including 7 device erosions, 4 with bacteremia and 3 with endocarditis).
