Abstract
Donnelly discusses her experience as a public health nurse. With this she presented observations and experiences in visiting elderly patient. Her report topics include vital signs before administering the meds, condition of skin before injection and maintenance of aseptic technique and observation of the patient postinjection. Listening to patients and families, observing nonverbal communication, surveying environmental characteristics and gaging own reactions provide crucial data in the equation for effective care.
