RIATA LEAD EXTRACTION: LEAD FAILURE DOES NOT INCREASE DIFFICULTY

Abstract
Infection was the most common indication (60%) and 32% had lead failure: 16% electrical malfunction and 16% CE. 73% were 1500 series and 27% were 7000 series. 87% were dual coil and 93% were active fixation leads.
