Abstract
The updated Recommended Childhood Immunization Schedule for 2001 is presented. The heptavalent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) is now recommended for all children 2 to 23 months of age and also is recommended for certain other children 24 to 59 months of age who are at high risk.
