Abstract
In their catalog of the freshwater mussel types (Bivalvia: Unionoidea) at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, Johnson and Baker (1973) made a number of type selections that were not valid. Two of them are here reviewed and valid selections made based on specimens from both sets of material.
