Abstract
Multiple fractures may be the earliest manifestation of rickets complicating long-term intravenous hyperalimentation in premature infants. Two such cases are presented. An awareness of this entity may avoid confusion with other causes of multiple fractures and lead to earlier diagnosis and therapy.
