Abstract
The patient with chronic limb ischemia requires careful evaluation to determine the need for either medical therapy alone, or for both medical therapy and revascularization. With judicious use of angiography and proper selection of the method of revascularization, excellent operative results with good long-term graft patency can be achieved.
