Donnelly reflects on authentic bully, citing a situation wherein a nurse manager requested feedback on how to improve morale and the work environment in light of resignations and complaints. The nurse manager asked for candor from the staff on what might be improved or changed. there were a few constructive suggestions wherein more frequent face-to-face communication with the leadership. She mentions that authenticity is an important practice for those who profess the holistic care philosophy.
