Abstract
We present an algorithm for computing the generalized hypergeometric function with unit argument

(1). The algorithm, based on a 3-term recursion relation, is effective for computing the analytic continuation of the function in any of its parameters. As an application, we give a new algorithm for computing the Beta function.
