01 Jan 1994
Abstract
A paleolimnology/paleoclimate database workshop was held at The Academy of Natural Science, Philadelphia, on May 12 and 13, 1993. The workshop was attended by representatives of the climate modeling and paleolimnological research communities, including scientists from the United States, Canada, and Europe. The purpose of the workshop was to evaluate the feasibility and logistical constraints associated with the development of paleolimnology data cooperative for North America and to assess the value to the climate community of their development. The focus was on biological paleolimnology as applied to Holocene/Pleistocene lacustrine sequences.
