Two-body surface correlations in 18O
Nuclear physics. A, v 288(3), pp 397-407
1977
Abstract
A previous, extended-basis shell-model wave function for the
18O ground state is tested for surface clustering of the two active neutrons. This effect causes no more than 25% enhancement of the amplitude for finding the neutrons in coincidence, compared with the amplitude obtained from a pure
