Abstract
The genus Litocampa, known form Europe, North and South America and Hawaii, is composed mostly of species that are obligate cave dwellers. Two new epigean species, described here, were discovered in the southern Appalachian region of eastern North America during July of 2003: L. appalachiensis, L. tennessensis. Five specimens of a previously described epigenan species and previously known only from the holotype, L. condei Ferguson, were also collected. A key that will separate the three known epigean species of Litocampa is given.
