We report two EK1 cluster bacteriophages isolated from soil samples using the host Microbacterium foliorum. EM imaging showed that both exhibit the podovirus morphology. Genome sequencing and annotation showed similarity with many EK1 phage genomes. Our phages contain a putative PAP gene, also expressed in plants.
