Abstract
The Virtual Reality Modeling Language is known as a standard for Web 3-D graphics. What is not readily apparent is VRML's utility as a medium of graphics exchange between heterogeneous 3-D systems, such as CAD, vis-sim, architectural, CAE, modeling, animation and gaming applications.
