Viewpoint
In May, the Safeguarding Health in Conflict Coalition (SHCC) and Insecurity Insight issued their 2023 report on attacks on health.[1] The report identifies 2,562 incidents of violence against or obstruction of health care in conflicts in 2023, a 25% increase from 2022, and the highest ever since the coalition began reporting on attacks in 2014.
