We welcome the opportunity to expand on ideas in our Comment regarding the US National Academics of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's (NASM) 2022 report, Measuring Sex, Gender Identity, and Sexual Orientation. We build on established premises and ultimately call for increased evidence to address well documented, persistent LGBTQI health disparities. [1st paragraph]
